Odisha Top Group In Junior Girls’ National Football Meet In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Odisha won their final league match in the Junior Girls’ National Football Championship to emerge as toppers of Group D.

Having lost 1-3 to Arunachal Pradesh in the previous game, Odisha bounced back with a hard-fought 1-0 verdict over Gujarat at CFA Unit 3 ground here on Monday.

The tournament hosts, who beat Kerala 1-0 in their opener, thus finished with 6 points — ahead of Arunachal and Kerala (4 points each).
