Srinagar: A 32-year-old tourist from Odisha died while three others sustained injuries after the vehicle in which they were travelling overturned at Daksum in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday.
All tourists in the tempo-traveller were from Odisha.
The passengers were taken to a nearby hospital where one among them, identified as Durgais Naik, was declared dead on arrival. The other three — Vikram Kumar Naik (32), Surjit Kumar (35) and Basant Kumar (30) — were referred to Anantnag GMC for further treatment, reports said.
