Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi on Tuesday said it is not time for politics and all should strive for ensuring fast recovery of the injured persons in the triple train accident at Bahanaga Bazaar station in Balasore district.
The BJP MP visited the SCB Medical College and Hospital at Cuttack and met the persons injured in the accident and undergoing treatment. She enquired about their condition from their relatives and discussed the treatment with the hospital authorities.
Speaking to media persons after the visit, Sarangi said, “We all are shocked by the gruesome accident. The heart-wrenching sights from the spot have shaken the people. But it is a good thing that the people from all quarters have extended their help as per their might to the victims of the tragedy.”
“The state and Central governments along with other agencies are working unitedly in coordination with each other at this time of reckoning. I pray to Lord Jagannath that the bodies of all the persons who lost their lives in the ghastly accident are identified and returned to their families,” she added.
Sarangi further said, “We should stand strongly with the families who have lost their near and dear ones. It is not time for politics to find fault. I appeal to all political parties to work unitedly to help the injured persons and the families of the deceased.”
