Bhubaneswar: Three players from Odisha have been selected for the Indian team which will compete in the Men’s Junior Asia Cup to be held in Muscat from November 26 to December 4.
The Odisha trio selected for the meet is defender Anmol Ekka, midfielders Roshan Kujur and Mukesh Toppo.
Amir Ali has been named captain of the 20-member squad.
India has been placed in Pool A along with Chinese Taipei, Japan, Korea and Thailand. Pool B comprises of Bangladesh, Malaysia, China, Oman and Pakistan.
India won their fourth Junior Asia Cup title last year beating Pakistan in the final.

Defenders: Amir Ali (C), Talem Priyobarta, Shardanand Tiwari, Yogember Rawat, Anmol Ekka, Rohit (VC). Midfielders: Ankit Pal, Manmeet Singh, Rosan Kujur, Mukesh Toppo, Thokchom Kingson Singh. Forwards: Gurjot Singh, Sourabh Anand Kushwaha, Dilraj Singh, Arshdeep Singh and Araijeet Singh Hundal.
