Sonepur: Two minor boys were killed after coming in contact with a live electric wire allegedly laid for poaching wild boars in a forested area near Sighapali village under Ullunda Tehsil in Odisha’s Sonepur district late on Saturday.
The deceased have been identified as Jeet Dungdung and Ramesh Dungdung of Hatlimunda village. The condition of the grandfather, Naveen Dungdung, who was accompanying the two boys, is said to be critical.
The incident took while they were on their way to keep a watch over their cropland last night, sources said.
