Puri: Vigilance officials carried out simultaneous raids at the office and properties of an auditor with a Puri-based cooperative society on Tuesday.
The Vigilance department said Rama Krishna Kar, the sub-assistant auditor general of cooperative society O/o SAAGCS, is suspected of possessing disproportionate assets.
The raids were conducted on a double storied building at Makundaprasad, a house of a relative at Jemadeipur, Khurda, a house at Kar’s native village of Ramachandrapur in Nayagarh district and his office in Puri.
