Baripada: Odisha Vigilance on Friday caught Raruan tehsildar Satya Sundar Rout in Mayurbhanj district while he was accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000.
Rout was apprehended along with Bhanjakia amin Kamal Lochan Patra. They had allegedly demanded the money from the complainant for issuing Patta (Record of Rights). Overall, they had allegedly demanded Rs 40,000 from the complainant.
