Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance sleuths on Friday continued searches at several places in connection with alleged possession of disproportionate asset by Chief Construction Engineer, Lower Suktel, Balangir, Sunil Kumar Rout, and unearthed two more plots in Uttar Pradesh.
Official sources said that two more plots allegedly acquired by Rout outside Odisha at Mathura in Uttar Pradesh were unearthed. The plots are located near Vrindaban Chandrodayo Mandir, Chhatikara Road in Mathura. Further details of area and cost are being ascertained.
This apart, investment and savings made by Rout were computed and it is found he has paid premium of Rs 1.86 crore to various Insurance companies. Further, bank deposits of Rs.40.39 lakhs have been ascertained so far. Total deposits assessed so far are over Rs 2.26 crores. Further details of investments made in shares and other financial instruments are being verified, Vigilance said.
Enumeration of assets within the farm house at Saptasajya in Dhenkanal was carried out. Farm house is over approximately 8 acre land area. A two storeyed residential building was found inside the farm house.
Also, 1 poultry farm of 2123 sqft. area was found inside the Farm house, wherein about 1000 number of country chickens and ducks were detected.
Further, 1 cow shed of 2550 sqft. was found inside the Farm house, wherein 45 numbers of cows and 25 calves were detected. Valuation of assets in the farm house is being made. Help of veterinary officers has been sought in this regard.
Inventory of lockers will be taken up on Friday.

On Thursday, the Vigilance sleuths had unearthed two multi-storey buildings in Bhubaneswar, 2 flats in Puri and 34 plots during simultaneous searches at nine places.
Vigilance had stated that 176 grams of gold, Rs 2.3 lakh in cash, 2 trucks, 2 ‘Benami’ four-wheelers, four two-wheelers have been detected during the raids at nine places in Bhubaneswar (Khurda), Puri, Angul, Cuttack and Balangir districts.
ASSETS UNEARTHED
1) A triple-storey building at Niladri Vihar, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar.
2) A double-storey at Nilakantha Nagar, Nayapali, Bhubaneswar.
3) 2-BHK Flat (ground floor), Block-J, Sikhetra Bhakta Niwas, Dolamandapsahi, Puri.
4) 1-BHK Flat, Krishnadhham Apartment, VIP road, Puri.
5) 34 plots in Bhubaneswar, Puri, Cuttack and Dhenkanal. Details as under;
6) 176 gms gold
7) Rs 2,34,120
8) 2 Trucks, 2 benami four-wheelers (Hyundai Creta & Mahindra Thar) & 4 two-wheelers.
The release said that valuation/assessment of the buildings, flats and plots are being carried out by Vigilance Technical Wing. Bank, postal, Insurance and other deposits are also under verification, it added.
