Odisha Vigilance Raids Angul Hospital Clerk Over Rs 2.38 Cr Misappropriation



Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance sleuths on Wednesday launched simultaneous searches at five locations linked to Subrat Kumar Behera, Junior Assistant at Angul District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) over alleged misappropriation of over Rs 2.38 crore.

The raids are being carried out following registration of a case by the Vigilance against Behera for alleged misappropriation of government funds to the tune of Rs 2.38 crores.

Vigilance said in a statement that

searches are being conducted at five locations linked to Behera, including his residence, relatives’ homes, and office.The raids are being conducted by 5 DSPs, 8 Inspectors, 14 ASIs, and other supporting staff.

Searches are underway at Behera’s residences in Hakimpada in Angul town, his relative’s house in Bonda village, his paternal home in Baunsapokhari, Dhenkanal, a rented house in Shree Vihar, Bhubaneswar, and his office at CDMO, Angul.

1. His tripple storyed residential building located at Hakimpada Angul town.

2. House of his relative located at Village Bonda, PS Nalco Nagar Angul.

3. His paternal house located at Baunsapokhari, Hindol, Dist Dhenkanal.

4. Residential rented house of his cousin located at Shree Vihar, Bhubaneswar.

5. Office room of Behera located at O/O CDMO, Angul.
