Bhubaneswar: The Vigilance officials unearthed 11 plots of land in prime areas of different places in the name of an assistant engineer and his relatives during raids on his properties on Tuesday.
Following allegation of possession of assets disproportionate to known sources of income, 8 teams of Vigilance officials carried out simultaneous searches on the properties of Umesh Kumar Shashini, assistant engineer, Baitarani Irrigation Division, Salapada in Keonjhar district. The raids were conducted in Keonjhar, Bhadraak, Jajpur and Khordha districts.
