Balangir: Four Vigilance teams raided the offices and house of a couple, who are both government employees, in Balangir town on Friday.
The couple, Trinath Seth and Sitarani Seth, are accused of amassing properties disproportionate to their known sources of income.
Trinath is head clerk in the District Excise Office and Sitarani Seth is a junior accountant with Western Electricity Supply Company (WESCO).
Vigilance sleuths also conducted simultaneous raids at Trinath’s paternal house in Nuapada town. The raids were still on till reports last came in.
