Bhubaneswar: The next visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Odisha has been rescheduled.
Informing this to the media on Sunday, senior BJP leader and leader of the BJP Legislature Party KV Singhdeo said the Prime Minister was scheduled to arrive in Balangir on January 16, the visit has now been preponed to January 15.
The Prime Minister, during his visit, will attend Swabhiman Samavesh of the party in Balangir and a public meeting, he added.
This will be the third visit of the Prime Minister to the state within a month. The Prime Minister had visited the state on December 24 to inaugurate the new campus of IIT Aragul, on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. Later, he had visited Baripada on January 5 where he had inaugurated the projects worth Rs 4,500 crore.
