Charge (IIC) of the Manamunda police station, over her suspected involvement with local cannabis (ganja) smugglers and drug cartels.
The alleged links were reportedly uncovered by neighbouring Sonpur Police, which intercepted digital footprints, including highly incriminating WhatsApp chat logs, that directly linked Magar to active drug syndicates. The shared evidence reportedly details how the former IIC leaked operational information to help high-level ganja peddlers and drug mafias evade police crackdowns and bypass checkpoints.
Upon receiving the dossier of digital evidence from Sonpur SP Narayan Nayak, the Boudh district police administration immediately initiated disciplinary proceedings and sought an explanation from the former police officer, defending her actions.
