Jaleswar: Age is just a number when it comes to following your passion! This has been proved true by 50-year-old Kalpana of Odisha, who is appearing for her Matric exams this year.
Last year, quinquagenarian Kalpana, a resident of Makidia village in Jaleswar, had enrolled herself for the Class X board examination at the Sri Chaitanya Dev High School in distance education.
The Odisha Matric Board examination has already commenced and the 50-year old student is answering her papers well. She is determined to clear the exams with a good percentage.
Kalpana had got married at an early age and thus, she couldn’t complete her schooling. Now, she has two daughters and a son. Her daughters are married and her son is in Class XII.
Her family has been quite supportive and also helping her to live her dream to pass Class X exam.
