Puri: Morning walkers found the naked body of a middle-aged woman lying on Konark beach in Puri district on Sunday.
Following information, local police reached the spot and sent the body for post mortem.
Police said they were trying to establish the deceased’s identity.
Though the exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained, police suspect that the woman may have been raped and then murdered.
