Bhubaneswar: Odisha Higher Education department has sought applications from young faculty members for innovative research proposals to carry out research works by getting seed funding from the state government, reported The Times of India.
The selected candidates will be provided with a seed funding of Rs five lakh. Moreover, each year, 40 faculty members will be provided with such funding.
Upon selection, the faculty members will have a time period of two years to show the output of their innovative research project.

In addition to this, the department is also looking to shortlist candidates for the junior research fellowship programme from those who have cleared national eligibility test (NET) but missed out on junior research fellow (JRF) awarded by University Grants Commission (UGC) or Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).
