Odisha Youth To Take On Prakash Raj In Bangalore Central

Bhubaneswar: Odia youth Raparthi Anil Kumar will contest the Lok Sabha elections from Bangalore Central as an Independent candidate. He is pitted against noted south Indian actor Prakash Raj.

Anil is a resident of Belarode at Jeypore in Odisha’s Koraput district. He has been staying in Bangalore with his wife for the past four years and works at Reparthi Consultancy Private Limited as its director. He has filed his nomination and started campaigning too.

As many as 22 candidates from the Congress, BJP and other parties are contesting from the Bangalore Central seat.

Anil and his family members are very happy he is contesting. “My election symbol is the ‘envelope’. I will function like a postman, delivering people’s message to the Parliament,” Anil said.
