Odisha Youth Dies In Vizag Hospital, Family Seeks Help To Get His Body

Paralakhemundi: Family members of a youth from the town, who died in a hospital in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday, have sought the help of Gajapati district administration in bringing back his body.

According to sources, the 19-year-old youth, Sampad of Ramnagar area, attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison on Monday. His family admitted him in the Paralakhemundi hospital and later shifted him to the KGH hospital in Visakhapatnam. He died while undergoing treatment in KGH hospital at 5 am on Tuesday.

One of his relatives said after the death of Sampad, the hospital authorities are yet to hand over his body. “We have sought the help of the Gajapati district administration in this regard,” said K Chakroborty, Sampad’s uncle.
