Bhubaneswar: On Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary, the Odia Bhasha, Sahitya & Culture Department on Friday will screen ‘Odishare Gandhiji’, a documentary by Odisha Sahitya Akademi.
This will be part of the Gandhi Jayanti celebration by the department, which will be held with strict adherence to the COVID-19 guidelines. The function will begin at 10 am.
Culture Department’s Principal Secretary Bishnupada Sethi, former Secretary Manoranjan Panigrahy, Director Bijay Kumar Nayak and other senior officials will attend the ceremony, a press release said.
The one-hour long documentary on Bapu will be telecast on several private channels in four slots from 11 am till 9 pm across the state.
