Bhubaneswar: Regular service of Bhubaneswar-Visakhapatnam-Bhubaneswar Vande Bharat Express will commence from Sunday (March 17), the East Coast Railway (ECoR) informed on Saturday.
The train in a unique grey-saffron colour will run six days a week except on Monday. It will leave Bhubaneswar at 5.15 am while the departure time from Visakhapatnam is 3.30 pm. It will have stoppages at Khurda Road, Balugaon, Berhampur, Ichhapuram, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram between Bhubaneswar and Visakhapatnam.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had virtually flagged off this service, the third for Odisha, on March 12.
The first Vande Bharat started operations between Puri and Howrah in May 2023. The second on the Puri–Rourkela route was flagged off in September last year.
