Bhubaneswar: NITI Aayog on Friday named Balangir district in Odisha and four others as the top five aspirational districts in the country regarding best practices in the health and nutrition sector.
The list was headed by Chandauli (Uttar Pradesh), followed by Balangir, Sahibganj (Jharkhand), Khunti (Jharkhand) and Garhwa (Jharkhand), respectively.
“#AspirationalDistricts continue to undertake #bestpractices to transform their Health and Nutrition sector,” NITI Aayog said in a tweet.
“These are the five most improved districts in this sector according to #NITIAayog’s Delta Ranking for December 2019,” it added.
