Odisha’s Balasore Reports 24 More Local Contact Cases, COVID-19 Tally Rises To 837

Balasore: The COVID-19 tally in the north Odisha district of Balasore touched 837 on Sunday with 29 fresh cases being reported in the last 24 hours.

Among them, 5 are from institutional quarantine centres and the remaining 24 local are contact cases, of which 12 are from Khaira block, 1 from Saragan block, 3 from Bhogarai block, 1 from Digibharana in Soro block, 3 from Balasore Municipality, 1 from Dumuria in Sadar block and 3 from Remuna block.

The district has so far reported two deaths and 639 recoveries. The number of active cases stands at 194.
