Bhadrak: The COVID-19 positive tally in the district went up to 2223 with an overnight addition of 58 positive cases.
Chandbali block reported the highest of 13 cases, followed by 12 from Tihidi block, nine from Basudevpur municipality, eight each from Basudevpur and Bhandaripokhari blocks, three from Bhadrak block, and two from Basudevpur municipality and one from Dhamnagar block. Another two cases were reported from an undisclosed location in the district.
With six deaths and 1318 recoveries, the Bhadrak district has 899 active cases at present.
The district administration has not mentioned the number of local cases, institutional quarantine and home quarantine cases.
