Odisha’s Bhadrak Reports Highest Single-Day Spike Of 118 COVID-19 Cases, Tally Breaches 1200

Bhadrak: The COVID-19 tally in Bhadrak district surged to 1201 on Friday with a record 118 positive cases in the last 24 hours.

According to the district administration, 110 among them are local contact cases while eight have been detected in quarantine centres.

The highest of 32 cases have been reported from Bhandaripokhari, followed by 29 from Bhadrak municipality, 13 from Bhadrak, 11 from Dhamnagar, nine from Chandbali, eight from Bonth, seven from Tihidi and five from Basudevpur block.

With four deaths and 876 recoveries, Bhadrak now has 421 active cases.
