Kendrapada: The Bhitarkanika National Park will reopen for tourists from August 5.
Rajnagar Mangrove Forest and Wildlife Division DFO Jagyandatta Pati said the park will open for tourists with strict adherence to COVID-19 guidelines.
He added that tourists and locals will be allowed to move inside the park during the day, but will be no night halt on the park premises.
The DFO informed that the park remains closed from May 1 to July 31 every year as it is the breeding season of saltwater crocodiles.
