Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the entire world and broken the backbone of technical and educational institutions across the globe.
However, to protect the citizens from this deadly viral infection the ‘Corona Fighters’ of our nation i.e. doctors, nurses, paramedical staff, police, sanitation workers, media persons and many employees and staff of other emergency service departments have been contributing with utmost dedication.
Considering their selfless services, the C.V. Raman Global University (CGU), Odisha has announced a scholarship of Rs 5 crore for the children of these “Corona Fighters”.
In a press release, president of the C.V. Raman Global University, Odisha, Sanjib Kumar Rout announced that a special reservation of seats will be made available from the academic session 2020-21 in all the departments and branches of engineering and other professional courses for these children.
Speaking about the special reservation, the CGU president further stated that a Special Management Committee has been formed to analyse the JEE ranks and other academic qualifications of the deserving applicants and facilitate the admissions for the wards of the “Corona Fighters”.
