Bhubaneswar: The Capital City witnessed the highest spike in COVID-19 positive cases on Saturday as 505 new cases were reported overnight with total cases moving fast to 10,000 mark.
According to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), while 5764 patients have recovered from the COVID-19, 40 people have succumbed to the disease. The number of active cases now stands at 3693.

As many as 345 persons got cured of the disease on the day while two succumbed.
With the day’s new cases, the COVID-19 positive tally has gone up to 9506, the BMC stated.
