Rourkela: Four members of a family were critically injured in an acid attack in Sector-A under Bandhamunda police limits on Wednesday night.
The victims have been identified as Nagendra Pandey, his wife Sangeeta, younger brother Bidyakanta and mother Sulochana.
The injured were rushed to Bandhamunda Railway Hospital for treatment. They were later shifted to Ispat General Hospital (IGH) as their condition deteriorated.
According to reports, the accused, identified as Santosh Soni, barged into the house of Nagendra and threw acid on him and his family members over a land dispute.
Soon after the incident, Soni fled from the spot. Bandhamunda polic arrested him later.
