Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s COVID-19 tally touched 18,110 on Monday after 673 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.
Of the new cases reported from 23 districts, 446 were detected in quarantine centres and 227 were local contact cases.
According to the I&PR department, Ganjam district reported the highest number of 239 positive cases followed by 58 each in Bhadrak and Khurda, Kandhamal (44), Koraput (41), Jagatsinghpur (36), Cuttack (32), Jajpur (28), Keonjhar (24), Bargarh (22), Gajapati (15), Jharsuguda (14), Balasore (13), Sundargarh (11), Dhenkanal (10), four each in Sonepur, Puri, Nayagarh, Malkangiri, Kendrapada and Angul, Sambalpur (3), and Mayurbhanj (1).
With 91 deaths and 12,453 recoveries, Odisha now has 5,533 active cases.
