Odisha’s COVID Vaccination Coverage Crosses 2 Crore-Mark

Bhubaneswar: Odisha achieved another milestone with 2,00,21,814 doses of vaccines being administered till 1 pm on Wednesday.

Health and Family Welfare Department tweeted: “Odisha has achieved a milestone in the vaccination drive with two crore doses administered successfully. We are grateful to the entire Health team and to each and every people of the state for their proactive participation, making the drive successful.”

Of the 3,09,85,538 beneficiaries in the 18 years and above category, 1,53,87,572 have got the first dose and 46,34,242 received both, according to the Co-Win dashboard.

A total of 62,244 had received the shots at 1014 session sites on Wednesday.

While the state had reached the first one crore vaccination mark on June 21, another one crore vaccine shots in nearly two months following a massive vaccination drive to achieve the target of 3 lakh inoculations a day.
