Odisha’s CRUT Receives Urban Mobility India Award For 4th Time

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) was presented the Award for Excellence in Urban Transport under the category of State which has Implemented Best Urban Transport Projects during the previous year at the Urban Mobility India 2022. This is 4th time in a row that CRUT has been bestowed with the Urban Mobility India Award.

Dipti Mahapatro, general manager (Personnel & Administration) received the award on behalf of CRUT at the conference organised by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs in Kochi, Kerala.

“It is a matter of great pride for CRUT to receive such a prestigious award yet again. We are consistently making efforts to make public transit service in Odisha better and better for the people and bring in more such recognition to the state through our innovative approach”, said Vijay Amruta Kulange, Managing Director, CRUT.

“It is an extremely coveted award and winning it again this year inspires us to keep working and moving ahead. We are completing our 4th year and Mo Bus has already become the mobility lifeline for people in the Capital Region of Odisha. The Mo E-Ride and E-Bus have also been appreciated by commuters. The faith reposed in us by the people and the support provided at every step of the way by the state government is something we deeply cherish. I credit my dedicated team for their consistency and teamwork,” said Dipti Mahapatro.

CRUT is the major urban transport service operating in the Capital Region of Odisha.
