Cuttack: Following an overnight addition of 47 COVID-19 cases, the tally of positive cases in Cuttack district rose to 1,614 on Saturday.
Of the new cases, 35 were from the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) area.
The remaining 12 cases were reported from six blocks, including 5 are from Tigiria, 2 each from Kantapada and Tangi and one each from Nischintakoili, Dampada and Salepur.
Out of the 1,614 positive cases reported in Cuttack district so far, 524 are active cases and 1,078 persons have recovered. Besides, nine patients have succumbed to the disease in the district.
