Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported over 400 new COVID-19 cases for the second consecutive day on Saturday with 452 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The state had seen 461 cases the previous day.
According to the I & PR Department, these fresh cases have been reported from 28 districts of the state. Among them, 267 are quarantine and 185 local contact cases.
Khurda has reported the highest of 77 cases followed by Sundargarh (75) and Nuapada (71).

These cases were detected from 26,700 samples tested for COVID-19.
The fresh cases have pushed the affected tally in Odisha to 3,42,224. With 1,921 deaths and 3,37,430 recoveries, the state now has 2820 active cases.
