Odisha’s Daily COVID-19 Cases Continue To Shoot Up; Check Details

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s daily COVID-19 cases continue to shoot up with 470 cases reported on Friday.

Among them, 49 are in the 0-18 age group. According to the I&PR Department, 276 cases are from quarantine and 194 cases from local contacts.

Here’s the district-wise tally of cases:

  3. Cuttack: 94
  4. Gajapati: 1
  5. Ganjam: 4
  6. Jagatsinghpur: 7
  7. Jajpur: 4
  8. Jharsuguda: 1
  9. Kendrapada: 2
  10. Keonjhar: 3
  11. Khurda: 221
  12. Mayurbhanj: 7
  13. Nayagarh: 4
  14. Nuapada: 5
  15. Puri: 17
  16. Rayagada: 1
  17. Sambalpur: 9
  18. Sonepur: 4
  19. Sundargarh: 24

Besides, 52 cases are from the state pool.

With 16,968 samples tested in the last 24 hours, the TPR stood at 2.76%.

The number of active cases stood at 2,487 as of Friday.
