Bhubaneswar: After dropping below 1,000 infections and showing a downward trend for two days, Odisha’s daily COVID-19 infections once again breached the 1,000-mark on Wednesday with 1,174 cases reported in the last 24 hours.
The number of active cases stood at 7,011 as of Wednesday. The state reported 662 cases on Tuesday and 739 cases on Monday.
Among the fresh cases, 155 are in the 0-18 years age group. According to the I&PR Department, 688 cases are from quarantine and 486 cases from local contacts.
