Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s daily COVID caseload dropped to 245 cases on Monday, a day after the state recorded 346 cases, the highest single-day surge in almost three months.
According to the I&PR Department, 143 of the new cases are from quarantine while 102 cases are from local contacts. Forty-one cases are in the 0-18 age group.

Besides, 28 cases are from the state pool.
The number of active cases in the state is 1,490 as of Monday. With 12,748 samples tested in the last 24 hours, the TPR stood at 1.92%.
