Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s daily COVID-19 caseload continues to dip, falling below 700 on Tuesday with 662 cases reported in the last 24 hours.
The state Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) Department also reported two COVID deaths in the last 24 hours. The deceased are a 32-year-old man from Angul district, who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus and Alcoholic Liver Disease, and a 63-year-old man from Balasore district, who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus and Hypertension.
Among the fresh infections, 104 are in the 0-18 years age group. According to the Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department, 387 cases are from quarantine while 275 cases are from local contacts.

With 17,959 samples tested in the last 24 hours, the TPR stood at 3.68%. The number of active cases stood at 7,054 as of Tuesday.
