Odisha’s Daily COVID Cases Remain Below 2K; TPR 2.3%

Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 1,572 COVID-19 cases on Friday, including 309 in the 0-18 age group testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.

The state reported 1,480 cases on February 10, 1,712 cases on February 9 and 1,503 cases on February 8.

According to the I & PR Department, 918 fresh cases are from quarantine and 654 local contacts.

  22. Mayurbhanj: 60
  23. Nabarangpur: 20
  24. Nayagarh: 35
  25. Nuapada: 23
  26. Puri: 39
  27. Rayagada: 74
  28. Sambalpur: 73
  29. Sonepur: 12
  30. Sundargarh: 113

Besides, 49 are from the state pool.

With 68,239 samples tested in the last 24 hours, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 2.3 per cent.

Odisha now has 14,253 active cases.
