Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID-19 caseload in Odisha dropped marginally on Saturday but remained over 1,000 infections. The state reported 1,130 cases in the last 24 hours, compared to 1,178 cases on Friday.
The number of active cases as of Saturday stood at 7,345.
Among the fresh infections, 143 cases are in the 0-18 age group. According to the I&PR Department, 662 cases are from quarantine and 468 cases from local contacts.
Four districts reported cases in three digits with Sundargarh overtaking Khurda with 225 cases. Khurda reported 209 cases. Here’s the district-wise tally of cases:
Besides, 47 cases are from the state pool.
