Odisha’s Daily COVID Count Drops Below 30, TPR 0.5%

Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 21 COVID-19 cases on Friday, including 5 in the 0-18 age group testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.

According to the I & PR Department, 13 fresh cases are from quarantine and 8 local contacts.

Here are the district-wise figures of the new cases:

  1. Balasore: 1
  2. Gajapati: 2
  3. Ganjam: 1
  4. Jajpur: 1
  5. Jharsuguda: 3
  6. Kendrapada: 1
  7. Khurda: 4
  8. Mayurbhanj: 1
  9. Sambalpur: 3
  10. Sundargarh: 3

Besides, one case is from the state pool.

With 35,130 samples tested in the last 24 hours, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.05 per cent.

Odisha now has 366 active COVID cases.
