Odia man, Debabrata Nayak has been appointed Chief Technology Officer at Digital India Corporation.
Digital India Corporation spearheads the Digital India initiative.
Nayak joined Digital India after taking voluntary retirement from National Informatics Centre (NIC), where he was a senior technical director. He has also served in National eGovernance Division (NeGD), a unit of Digital India till very recently on deputation.
He was responsible for building popular government applications such as DigiLocker, National Data Exchange and for scaling up CoWIN.
In NeGD, Nayak was responsible for applications like Umang, Poshan Tracker for Anganwadi programme, among others stated reports.
