Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s former Team India pacer Debashish Mohanty has been selected as an Intern for National Cricket Academy’s (NCA) High Performance Bowling Internship Programme.
The programme, under Board of Control for Cricket in India, will be held in Bengaluru from June 20, Odisha Cricket Association informed.
The 46-year-old Mohanty played 2 Tests and 45 ODIs for India between 1997 and 2001, bagging 4 and 57 wickets, respectively. All his 4 Test wickets came in one innings, against Sri Lanka, at Colombo in August 1997. He also served as a member of the senior selection committee.
