Bhubaneswar: In view of the coronavirus threat, the Odisha government on Thursday asked all high-end saloons, beauty parlours and spas to remain closed until further orders.
The decision to shut them was taken as social distancing of more than one metre between service provider and customer was not possible on these premises, a statement issued by Commissioner-cum-Head, Social Distancing Committee of COVID-19 Response PK Mohapatra said.
LIQUOR SHOPS
To reduce overcrowding, the liquor shop owners have been asked to ensure that the customers stand in queue at more than one metre distance from each other. The IEC materials on COVID-19 should be displayed prominently at these shops and the staff should sanitize their hands before and after every delivery. The bottles must also be sanitized before delivery, the order said.
