Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik heaped praises on enigmatic sprinter from Odisha, Jayanti Behera for clinching three gold medals at the 19th National Para Athletics Championship in Bengaluru.
Jayanti won the 100m, 200m and 400m events in the women’s T-47 category for her triple gold. This is the 5th time in a row that this para-sprinter has bagged golden treble in National Athletics.
In a congratulatory tweet on Saturday, the CM wished Jayanti more success and said Odisha was proud of her achievement.
