Bhubaneswar: ‘Plant Trees and Save the Earth’, with this motto, former MLA and International Green Army’s Commander in Chief, Dilip Srichandan has created 40,000 green armies in India, as well as in foreign countries.
He was felicitated for this achievement with the ‘Sabuja Biplabi Samman’ by the Konark Press Club during the Konark International Dance Festival.
Dr Dilip Srichandan has taken the leadership of many national and international-level environmental awareness programmes.
His aim is that each and every Odia, wherever they may be, should plant one tree to save the earth. Inspired by him, many Odias have planted trees at many places in India and foreign countries.
