Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur District Bags SKOCH Award For COVID-19 Management

Jagatsinghpur: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has congratulated the Jagatsinghpur district administration for bagging the prestigious SKOCH Award for efficiency in COVID-19 management.

The SKOCH Award recognizes people, projects and institutions that go the extra mile to make India a better nation.


Earlier on Thursday, Jagatsinghpur Collector Sangram Keshari Mohapatra had informed about the district bagging the award in a tweet.

“Jagatsinghpur District Administration got SKOCH Award in SILVER category in COVID Management. It is possible due to constant guidance by the Hon’ble CM, wholehearted support by the people of the district in obeying all guidelines and untiring work by Officials,” he tweeted.

With two deaths and 573 recoveries so far, Jagatsinghpur district has 117 active cases at present.
