Jagatsinghpur: The COVID-19 tally in Jagatsinghpur district rose to 453 on Wednesday with 26 fresh cases being detected in the last 24 hours.
Of the 26 cases, 15 cases have been reported from Tirtol, five from Raghunathpur, two from Balikuda and one each from Jagatsinghpur, Biridi, Paradip and Ersama blocks.
While 24 cases are from temporary medical camps (TMCs) with travel history from Andhra Pradesh-1, Karnataka-7, Maharashtra-2, Tamil Nadu-2, Telengana-3, Uttar Pradesh-2, West Bengal-3 and Dubai-4, one high-risk contact case is from L&T isolation facility while the other is from the cardiology ward of Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar.
With 316 patients having recovered from the disease, the district now has 137 active cases.
