Bhubaneswar: Experienced Odia weightlifter Jhili Dalabehera has been named in the 20-member Indian squad for the Commonwealth Weightlifting Championship.
India are the hosts, with Gautam Buddha University in Greater Noida staging the meet from July 12 to 16.
The 24-year-old Jhili has a wonderful track record in the Commonwealth championship, having won gold in 2019 (Samoa) and silver in 2021 (Tashkent). She will be eyeing a hat-trick of Commonwealth medals, hoping to cash in on home advantage.
She is also a gold-medallist in Asian Championships (Tashkent 2020) and South Asian Games (Kathmandu 2019).
