Koraput: Rooftop solar plant installed in two platforms of Koraput railway station was commissioned on Tuesday.
Inaugurating the 27.5-kWp solar power plant on sheds of platform number 2 & 3, Chitta Ranjan Hait, Chief Electrical Engineer said the solar plant, provided on PPP mode for 25 years, will generate 87 units of power per day, totalling 31,755 units per year.
Azure Solar Power Roof Top Four Private Limited has installed 90 solar panels on rooftops of the platform sheds.
