Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday announced an increase in the monthly incentive of community support staff working under Mission Shakti.
The monthly incentive of MBK, Bank Mitra and Jeevika Sahayika has been raised from Rs 6,750 to Rs 10,750 and that of Krushi Mitra and Praani Mitra from Rs 3,750 to Rs 6,250. Likewise, the monthly incentive of CRP-CM has gone up from Rs 3,600 to Rs 6,100.
The Chief Minister acknowledged the contribution of Mission Shakti’s community support staff in empowerment of women of the state and announced that the increased incentive will be effective from October 2023.
The decision will benefit 59,509 community support staff working at the gram panchayat level and cost the state exchequer an additional Rs 96.51 crore.
